The most important things for admission are PATIENCE and PERSEVERENCE!!!! There are a multitude of steps and stages and it pays to be patient till the end. Most people get admission only at third stage and beyond.
Research is the key to selecting the right branch and the right location. Do not miss any deadlines. Keep track of dates and follow-up accordingly.
Find out the level of risk you are comfortable with and select branches and colleges accordingly while applying. A good rule of thumb is to have about 10% of colleges that you might just miss out on, but would like to really get.
