Guntur Guntur is an ancient city of eastern Andhra Pradesh. The old French colony is situated just beside the trunk road of Vijayawada-Madras, making itself an easily accessible old city where nature has bestowed all her beauties – coast, hill and river side plain. Guntur has a rich history dated back to 500 BC when Pratipalapura kingdom existed there as the earliest known realm of the south India.
